Founder, LMT, RYT 200, NLP Practitioner
Sierra is originally from Homer, AK and is a graduate of the Healing Arts Institute in Fort Collins, CO and Passion Yoga School in Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica. She is an instructor for Mental Health First Aid with Adults, Youth, and Law Enforcement and has studied with Yoga for 12-Step Recovery. She is trained to use neurolinguistic programming tools (NLP) as the foundation of all her work.
Sierra has a home base in Colorado, where she leads yoga for recovery in behavioral health centers and provides massage for survivors of chronic abuse. She also teaches mindfulness and brain science in homeless and addiction recovery shelters, residency programs for girls who have been sex trafficked and their staff, and underserved communities in public school programs.
She is passionate about serving clients wanting to reconnect with their bodies and free their minds, to move onto more joyous, active lifestyles after trauma. With a decade of previous teaching experience, she maintains an informative style of communication and believes in a philosophy of facilitation that includes three components: education, guided practice, and extension beyond the classroom. You will always walk away from her services empowered to use new skills and tools successfully on your own.
When Sierra is not teaching or giving bodywork, you can find her writing poetry, running marathons, volunteering, and traveling the world.
