WE RAISED OVER 100 COPIES IN 2020!
SEE YOU AGAIN IN 2021!
Why Books for Incarcerated People?
People who are incarcerated and unable to read have a 70% rate of returning to prison compared to those who can read at a 16% rate.
A $1 investment in education is shown to reduce incarceration costs by $4-$5. On a large scale, this frees up your tax dollars for something else.
Countries such as Italy, Iran, and Brazil encourage literacy by allowing inmates to reduce their sentences by reading books.
There are many resources focused on victims and their families, which is wonderful. There are not many resources for perpetrators or their families, however, and this book can fill some of that gap.
Stories can help us to see ourselves in a different way. For an incarcerated person, Everything We Have Unlearned, can provide validation of their own trauma, encourage accountability for them to restore what they can, and specific guides to begin their own healing process as they begin to see themselves as resilient..
this week only you can donate Everything We Have Unlearned to a prison in the united states for
$10 a book!

About The Book
Everything We Have Unlearned is a tale of resilience which addresses the epidemic of childhood trauma and the environments that foster the cycle of abuse. Part narrative and part-self-help guide, this story integrates the raw truth of Sierra's biographical experience with the fantasy world of the warrior's journey that empowered her to recover. Her character inspires and harmonizes with our own humanity as a reflection of our deepest selves. If you have ever experienced trauma, wished your family loved you more, or if you simply enjoy fantasy adventure stories where the little gal wins, this book is for you.
